Tahona Mercado transformed an 825-square-foot corner convenience store into a refined mezcal and Mexican specialty market, creating a vibrant neighborhood destination in San Francisco's Nob Hill. Designed to celebrate the craftsmanship and culture behind the products, the space balances warm materials, custom millwork, and carefully curated displays to create an intimate retail experience that encourages exploration and discovery.

LMNOP led the full design-build process, including brand development, interior design, permitting, custom fabrication, and construction. Thoughtfully integrated refrigeration, custom display shelving, and a restrained material palette maximize both function and atmosphere within a compact footprint to create a retail environment that strengthens the brand, supports day-to-day operations, and allows the space to evolve with the market.
