After their successful SOMA StrEat Food Park, the Muela Family decided to open another lively food truck venue in Mission Bay—an area limited in its food options and growing in its residential capacity. We led the full design-build process to create a destination that serves residents, visitors and the broader community.

Designed around eight rotating food trucks, a full-service bar, flexible seating, fire pits, and shaded gathering areas, Spark Social transforms a formerly underutilized site into a vibrant public destination that invites people to linger throughout the day and into the evening. Every element was designed to support flexibility, comfort, and social connection, creating an outdoor hospitality environment that has become both a neighborhood amenity and one of San Francisco's most recognizable food destinations.
